Sarah James, lead conservator, is a conservation professional with a specialization in Objects Conservation. She completed her Master’s degree in Conservation Practice from Cardiff University in Dec. 2017. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of conservation groups, developing a broad knowledge base of material types, collection sizes, and display/ storage assessments. Her unique interdisciplinary skill set working in a number of museum, archaeological and conservation positions internationally allows her to effectively advise clients on appropriate treatment and object care. Additionally, she holds the education of the public and museum professionals of the field as a key responsibility of all conservators to better ensure the longterm longevity of our cultural, historic, and artistic history.
